Some very sad news today out of the Ontario Hockey League. Kurtis Evans, who played for three seasons in the OHL, has reportedly passed away after a battle with cancer. Evans was just 23 years old.
Kurtis Evans played with the Central Ontario Wolves AAA U15-U18 teams before being drafted into the OHL by the North Bay Battalion in 2017. He played three seasons for the Battalion before retiring in 2019. The OHL says the entire hockey community is in mourning.
