Evander Kane has been a solid contributor in the playoffs for the Edmonton Oilers, racking up four goals at five-on-five and a 50% goals share.

But in tonight's potential Western Conference clincher against the Dallas Stars, things took a bit of a turn. The Oilers are up 2-0, looking good for a shot at the Stanley Cup Finals against the Florida Panthers. However, Kane's health is suddenly up in the air.
After delivering a solid body check to Alex Petrovic, Kane headed down the tunnel and didn't return for the rest of the period.

Now, with the game hanging in the balance, there's a bit of uncertainty surrounding Kane's status for the remainder of the matchup. Let's hope he's back in action soon, because the Oilers could sure use his firepower down the stretch, especially in the finals if they hang on.
Big update and relief for the Oilers and Kane as he appears to be fine.
