Oilers fans ambush Connor McDavid's car after Conference Finals Clincher
The Edmonton Oilers are back in the Stanley Cup Final after waiting since 2006. Naturally, Oilers fans are elated.
Yet a recent video that surfaced on social media showing some overzealous Oilers fans hounding their captain, Connor McDavid. Apparently, Connor was just minding his own business, loading up his car with some beer for a team party, when these fans decided to ambush him.
It's cringeworthy stuff. But, Connor handled it like a professional. He kept his cool, even though you could tell he just wanted to get on with his night and enjoy some downtime with his fiancée and teammates.
We love the Oilers, but let's remember to give our players some space, especially when they're off the clock. These guys are human beings too. It's not fair to judge all Oilers fans based on the actions of a few, but let's just say these fans didn't paint a great picture for the rest of them.
