The Edmonton Oilers have been playing well as of late, but for some reason they can't stop arguing, with the latest example being Corey Perry and Evander Kane.
Just over a week ago, all the talk in Edmonton surrounded the bench disagreement between Evander Kane and Leon Draisaitl, and over the weekend, it happened again. This time however, it was Corey Perry that was caught arguing with Kane in a worrying sign as things don't appear to be getting better.
Now, Perry has addressed the situation, revealing that the two have both apologized and are ready to move on as the Oilers continue to chase a Stanley Cup.
«It happens. Brothers fight and argue. We are trying to make each other better. We talked about it after, apologize and move on. It happens in the room often, it just happened that the camera showed it,» Perry on interaction with Kane.
Beyond this season, these issues within the Oilers locker room will certainly need to be addressed, but with the playoffs just two weeks away, the team will be hoping they can co-exist long enough to chase a long awaited Stanley Cup.
