Arber Xhekaj steps in to defend Patrik Laine after he suffered a brutal injury from a collision

Oh no, not again. Montreal Canadiens big offseason pick-up, Patrik Laine, had to leave today's preseason game against the Toronto Maple Leafs after what looked like a pretty bad injury.
Arber Xhekaj wasn't having any of that as he absolutely lost it on Cédric Paré, the guy who injured Laine. Xhekaj threw him down, and the two went at it right there on the ice.
Laine has already dealt with injuries last season when he was with the Columbus Blue Jackets and spent time in the NHLPA assistance program. It appeared he was finally set for a fresh start with the Habs, Yet now, with this injury, who knows how long he will be out?
He seemed to hyperextend his knee after getting caught between Paré and another Leaf while entering the offensive zone. He also seemed to indicate it's a serious injury by throwing his helmet as he learnt to the locker room.
Feels like this could really set him back, and that's the last thing they need right now.
