Boston Bruins fans were inconsolable after losing Brad Marchand after an injury in game three against the Florida Panthers.

After a period of near-radio silence, we finally have an answer on the captain's return straight from the layer's mother.
Brad Marchand had an unfortunate turn of fate after Florida Panthers forward Sam Bennet made a nasty hit to the player's head. While Marchand had to take time off the ice for concussion protocol, Bennet got to continue playing without any obvious consequences.
"Brad Marchand will now miss his second consecutive game tonight because of this disgusting act by Sam Bennett.
Is the NHL going to do something about this?"
When asked earlier today about Brad Marchand's status for game 6, Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery stated coyly that the player would ultimately be a game-time decision.
"🎥 Coach Montgomery on Brad Marchand's status for Game 6 between the #NHLBruins and Panthers tonight at TD Garden: 'He's going through his final steps. He'll be a game-time decision.'"
Fortunately for the Bruins, it looks like, after two consecutive missed games, they can expect to have their captain back. According to his mother, Lynn Marchand, the Boston left-winger is pumped to get back on the ice and try to tie the series.
"He's doing good, he's good. He's pumped, he's ready for a big win tonight for the Bruins and he's excited to get out there and extend the series."
The Bruins will aim to tie up the series and force a game 7 against Florida tonight at TD Garden. With Brad Marchand expected back on the ice, hopefully, Boston can give the Panthers all they have.
