Last night Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid was taken down with a huge hit from Vancouver Canucks defenseman Carson Soucy. Today an NHL insider has announced Carson Soucy is facing discipline.

The Vancouver Canucks took down the Edmonton Oilers last night in Game 3. Despite the win, Canucks defenseman Carson Soucy might have made a crucial error that could impact the series. With his team already guaranteed the win Carson Soucy gave out a huge cross-check to Connor McDavid.

With Connor McDavid potentially injured due to the hit the NHL is now looking into potential discipline for Carson Soucy. According to Elliotte Friedman Carson Soucy will have a meeting with the NHL's Department of Player Safety.
