The Philadelphia Flyers and Washington Capitals are set to play each other tonight as they are both fighting to hold onto Stanley Cup Playoff contention in the east.
Both the Philadelphia Flyers and the Washington Capitals are within 2 points of the second wildcard spot in the eastern conference. Both teams are also fighting against the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Detroit Red Wings for the second wildcard spot. The Flyers and Capitals play each other tonight at 7:00 PM E.T. to decide who has a chance at making the playoffs.
