After a down year with Colorado, Alex Galchenyuk returned to the Arizona Coyotes this summer, but due to a controversial incident, the team released him shortly after.
Now however, it appears he's heading overseas in order to restore his reputation, with Spartak Moscor in the KHL in Russia.
After five straight seasons of 40+ points, Galchenyuk has struggled to reach those heights in recent years, with his latest season being just 11 games in Colorado with 0 points registered.
However, at 29-years of age, he still has time to turn it around, and if he can prove to NHL teams that the issues are behind him and that he can still be effective on the ice, this will be a great move that gets him back to the league.
