For a few weeks now, it's been confirmed that Ehlers has generated a lot of interest from NHL teams, and while he has been involved in trade talks before, it reached a new level, according to a report from The Athletic's Murat Ates:
Ehlers is set to earn $6,750,000 this season, entering the final year of his deal signed in 2017 by Kevin Cheveldayoff, and he's apparently not interested in signing another contract in Winnipeg.
The 28-year-old forward has a 10-team no-move clause, but nonetheless, potential trade destinations were highlighted by recent reports confirming the Jets are taking calls for him:
