BREAKING: Alex Galchenyuk Is In More Legal Trouble
The 2012 3rd overall pick just cannot seem to catch a break!
Galchenyuk Sued By Bank
Back in 2012, the Montreal Canadiens selected Alex Galchenyuk 3rd overall with high expectations for him. While with the Canadiens, Galchenyuk took out a bank loan worth nearly $300,000 USD with the anticipation of being able to pay it back after his big payday.
However, that big payday never came and the loan now sees Galchenyuk owing nearly $400,000 almost a decade later.
Galchenyuk sued for almost $400,000 by a bank
This comes just a few weeks after Galchenyuk was arrested and had his contract terminated by the Arizona Coyotes. He is currently working with the NHLPA and their player assistance program.
