Arizona Coyotes fans got a piece of bad news this summer when centerman Alex Galchenyuk was arrested for a hit-and-run incident in Scottsdale Arizona. It was later revealed that he was charged with misdemeanor threatening while other minor charges were dropped. Now we know exactly what happened.
Scottsdale Police Release Bodycam Footage From Galchenyuk Arrest
Today the Scottsdale PD released body cam footage from one officer involved in Galchenyuk's arrest. They also released footage from a camera inside the officer's patrol car. View discretion is advised.
Galchenyuk can be seen and heard threatening the officer's family in a disgusting display of anger and spite. Luckily, police handled the situation well.
Galchenyuk has fallen from grace since being drafted 3rd overall in the 2012 draft. He's played 654 career games in the NHL, accumulating 146 goals and 354 points in the process. He is currently playing with Ska. St. Petersburg in the KHL.
