The Buffalo Sabres held an intrasquad scrimmage to get themselves prepared for the preseason. During the scrimmage superstar defenseman Rasmus Dahlin suffered a scary injury.

For Sabres fans Rasmus Dahlin getting injured is one of the worst-case scenarios for the start of the season. He is their workhorse on defense consistently playing the most minutes and creating a ton of chances offensively.
Dahlin Avoids A Major Injury During Sabres Scrimmage
After practice Rasmus Dahlin was able to meet with the media. During this media availability, he gave an update on his condition.
Rasmus Dahlin said, «I'm all good.» He's happily chatting with reporters now.
This will be a huge sigh of relief for the Buffalo Sabres and their fans. Rasmus Dahlin is part of a young core for the Sabres that is trying to turn around the culture. The Sabres have not made the playoffs in over a decade now. According to Dahlin though that is the only acceptable expectation for the coming season.
