Jakob Pelletier has gone down after a dirty hit from a Kraken forward.
Pelletier Injured By Dirty Hit
Preseason hockey is well underway and with that comes injuries. 2019 26th overall pick Jakob Pelletier went hard into the boards after a dirty hit from Marian Studenic.
Pelletier is a slight player at 5'9" and Studenic manhandled him into the boards resulting in an injury. Spectators revealed that Pelletier had a limp arm.
Studenic was ejected for his actions after the fact.
Pretty late on this but Marian Studenic was given five minutes and a game for his hit on Pelletier.
Pelletier not on the bench to start the second, unsurprisingly.
Studenic will likely face supplementary discipline from the NHLPA for this hit and will likely be suspended as well.
