A troubled NHLer has dissed his former team in a hilarious manner.

Haula's Troubled Past

Erik Haula has gained a reputation for being a locker-room cancer over the course of his NHL career.
He has played for seven teams, the Minnesota Wild, Vegas Golden Knights, Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers, Nashville Predators, Boston Bruins, and now the New Jersey Devils. In addition to this, he has been traded three times.
While he provides solid secondary scoring, teams have realized it is better to move him out for other assets that are less problematic.

Haula Disses Hurricanes

The Hurricanes acquired Haula back in 2019 and traded him only 41 games into his tenure as a Hurricane as a part of the deal that netted them Vincent Trocheck.
Since then, Haula has made it clear that he is not a fan of the franchise by being an on-ice menace. While he is a menace, he has yet to find success vs his former franchise losing to them in the playoffs three straight years.
He was recently photographed wearing a friendship bracelet, a recent trend, that says "canes suck"

Haula will look to finally find success against the Hurricanes this year with a very strong Devils team that could win the Presidents Trophy next year after their young core develops further and the big-time acquisition of Tyler Toffoli.
