Connor Bedard Reveals His True Thoughts On A Rival Superstar
Connor Bedard has made history already in his short time in the NHL. Television viewership has never been higher in the U.S. than the games Bedard has played. Now he has arguably his biggest challenge in the NHL ahead of him in Auston Matthews and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The two will now meet for the first time in their careers and today Connor Bedard had a chance to comment on the upcoming game and Auston Matthews.
Bedard Reveals His True Thoughts On Matthews
In a media availability today Connor Bedard was asked about Auston Matthews and was very complimentary in his answer.
"He's someone that I feel like pioneered a certain shot. He's got 6 [goals] in 2 [games], so he's doing something right. Ever since he came into the league, he's been someone I've loved to watch...so I'm excited to go against him."
Bedard will now look to outshine a star that he grew up watching once again after beating Sidney Crosby in his first career game. It will be interesting to see if they are matched up on the ice together as Bedard and Crosby were or if they will each see other lines.
