Today a new update has been given that has created concern that Connor Bedard is dealing with an injury while playing for Canada at the World Championships.

Yesterday Canada played Czechia in their final round-robin game at the World Championships. In a surprising turn of events, Connor Bedard only ended up playing 8 minutes of the entire game.
Not totally sure what's going on with Connor Bedard, who played just 8:08 today and nothing in OT.

Just 10 shifts. #MensWorlds
Beyond playing just 8 minutes in this game Connor Bedard has not looked like himself at all throughout the tournament. This has led to discussion about whether or not Connor Bedard is fully healthy.
According to some sources, #ConnorBedard might be hurt...

UNCONFIRMED

Let's hope not!
If Connor Bedard is in fact injured the Canadian team needs to make the decision to shut him down and let him return home to recover. While the World Championships are a fun tournament and an honor to be a part of Connor Bedard's health for the regular season is the most important for the NHL, the Chicago Blackhawks and hockey fans.
As of now, these are just rumors based on the fact that Connor Bedard's ice time was limited and his lack of success. As the Canadian team heads into the Quarterfinals look for an update. If Connor Bedard is in the lineup then he should be fine if not there could be cause for concern.
