Last night Evander Kane sat out against the Kings with an injury to the disappointment of many Oilers fans. Head coach Kris Knoblauch provided an update regarding the health of Kane a day later.

Knoblauch on Evander Kane: "we hope he plays (Sunday at Anaheim). it's a nagging injury, but we certainly hope he's available tomorrow."
Kane has struggled all season only scoring 13 goals and 23 points through 32 games but the news of a nagging injury could explain his struggles.
Hopefully, he can continue to play while also continuing to recover and eventually get back into peak shape for the playoffs where the Oilers will desperately need him.
We will now wait and see if Kane plays today against Anaheim but as is there is no word on his health status.
