Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are the best duo in all of hockey and they will be reunited for the first time this season tonight.
McDavid and Draisaitl Reunited
Most of the time last season, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl played on different lines but were moved together when the Oilers were in need of offense. Tonight, the Oilers play the Seattle Kraken and will be playing McDavid and Draisaitl together for the game.
Aside from the obvious, the first line, top pair, and starting goalie, there is a solid chance about four or five more players make the roster.
It is assumed that Dylan Holloway, Derek Ryan, and Mattias Janmark will make the roster but it is no guarantee all three make the roster. The Oilers could also see Adam Erne or Raphael Lavoie make the roster as bottom six options.
In addition to this, Philip Broberg could make the roster despite being projected as a 7th defenseman. He could also be traded if the Oilers decide to boost their roster but Broberg could certainly be a big part of the Oilers future given his skills as a player.
