GM Ken Holland of the Edmonton Oilers was at a hockey game, between the Montreal Canadiens and the Nashville Predators, which was interesting, to say the least. Because of the implications it has regarding the Oiler's roster and what players are available for trade in general. Currently, the general manager of the Oilers has yet to make a move in regards to goaltender Jack Campbell, and the Predators have an asset in a backup goaltender as well as the Montreal Canadiens.

Which route he will take is the most interesting question out there and who will be acquired based on their performance?

Where do the Edmonton Oilers currently stand

The Edmonton Oilers are currently on a 7 game win streak and are dominating their opponents significantly to the point that the wins are lopsided. To be fair, however, the Oilers did need the coaching change that resulted in their current run and have produced enormously to that plan. Goaltender Stuart Skinner has six of those wins and current backup goalie Richard Pickard stole a win against the New Jersey Devils.
General Manager Ken Holland has been looking to make a move recently and is committed to the Oilers until the end of his contract. Will he be renewed before the end of the season, the question lies in how the Oilers team will perform in the post-season.
The ideal perspective of the Edmonton Oilers would be to acquire a steady backup goaltender, a defenseman, and a bottom-six forward.
