The Edmonton Oilers made the major addition of Corey Perry this week, but if they want to become genuine Stanley Cup contenders in the West, it appears more moves will be on the way.
Oilers linked to two familiar faces
According to TSN's Chris Johnston, there are three names to keep an eye on in Oilers trade talks, with two of them being former Oilers who are very familiar with the team.
On top of both Jordan Eberle and David Perron, Johnston speculated that the Oilers could be in on Jake Guentzel, and while there's needs in net and on the blue line, this would give their forward group another major boost.
In 44 games this season, Guentzel has tallied 47 points alongside Sidney Crosby, and if the Oilers can land any of these three veterans, there's no doubting that they may be the team to beat in the Western Conference.
