Recent reports have surfaced that Edmonton Oilers General Manager Ken Holland is looking to this familiar face in net to potentially replace Jack Campbell.

Ken Holland Eyes Mrazek As Potential Replacement for Jack Campbell

The Edmonton Oilers are looking to turn their season around, and are currently on a 3-game win streak. However, GM Ken Holland still needs to make some moves in order to try and save the season, which includes finding a goaltender.
Now, reports have surfaced that he is looking to Petr Mrazek, a familiar face in goal, to potentially replace Jack Campbell.
«Cap constraints may force Edmonton into a more low-key move, whether it's any of the aforementioned options or someone like Petr Mrazek with whom general manager Ken Holland has some experience. Then again, with the transition of power happening at the top, Holland's connections may no longer be as much of a priority as Jeff Jackson's are.»
Mrazek and Holland have some experience together, and he could be a low-risk option for Holland to bring in.

Holland Actively Looking at All Options in Net To Turn Season Around

All that said, Holland is not holding back in his search for a new potential goaltender. It has been reported that he is looking at Jordan Binnington of the St. Louis Blues and Sam Montembeault of the Montreal Canadiens, along with others.
#oilers fans getting excited about the wins recently but from everything I have seen is the #1 glaring weakness has not changed. 1 game shutout in 3 wins does not equate to playoff contention goaltending.

Skinner is a backup goalie learning the trade still and they need a #1 goalie for at least 47-48 games min. They have outscored their goaltending issue. Their offence is scoring their defence is giving up less 2 on 1's and pp is on heater and pk is excelling. Fix is still needed
It is obvious that Holland is on the hunt for a goalie, the better question becomes how much he is willing to give up in order to try and salvage what is left of the year, and even bigger, what is left of McDavid and Draisaitl's guaranteed time in Edmonton.
