The Edmonton Oilers recently announced that Connor McDavid would be out for up to two weeks, and now, the line changes since then have drawn the ire of Oilers fans.
Questionable moves
In McDavid's absence, many expected the speedy, offensive minded Dylan Holloway to move to the top line alongside Evander Kane and Leon Draisaitl, but reportedly, Jay Woodcroft has seen it differently, with Bob Stauffer reporting these are their lines ahead of tonights game.
Instead, it is Mattias Janmark that moves to the top line, and while he is a serviceable player, his talent is much better suited on the McLeod-Brown line, as they could serve as a defensive minded line to shut down the Wild's top lines.
However, the team decided to go this way, and after their poor start to the year, the pressure is on for them to pick up a huge win in this one as they look to stay afloat in the tough Pacific Division until the return of their biggest star.
