Exploring Trade Options for the Oilers Amidst Rumors
Amidst all the trade talks for the Oilers, there seem to be a ton of options that the Oilers have been linked to. The Oilers are exploring every possible option, and seem to be waiting it out to see how the team continues. There have recently been new names added to the potential trade targets board, and we'll look at which of these seem to be the best options.

Adam Henrique: A Strong Contender for the Oilers
The first isAdam Henrique, who is having himself a great season. Henrique is a man who you can plug into the wing, and he currently has 32 points in 48 games. Henrique is on an expiring $5.8M contract, although with salary retention he would be a very pricey acquisition. You could put him in as a second line winger, and he could be very useful for the Oilers.
Anthony Duclair: A New and Affordable Option
Next isAnthony Duclair, who is a very new addition on the trade block. Duclair would be a much cheaper option for the second line wing, as he only makes $3M on an expiring contract. He would also be much easier to acquire as he has 16 points in 44 games played on the worst offense in the league, but would be a great addition as he a player who can make a big impact on a hot offense. He could be a great value trade, as he wouldn't get much of a return for San Jose.
Ilya Lyubushkin: A Defensive Asset for the Oilers
Another isIlya Lyubushkin, who is a RD on a $2.75M cap hit for only this year. He could slot in to the defense on the right side and allow some flexibility. He would also need less from the Oilers, so could be a good value trade.
Pat Maroon: A Depth Option with Championship Experience
Last is Pat Maroon, who would be a depth option. Maroon would be great for the Oilers physical gameplay, and brings cup winning prowess to the team. He only carries a cap hit of 800k, and would also only cost a late-round pic. He could also be one of multiple targets, if the Oilers want to bring in multiple pieces.
