The Edmonton Oilers might be cooking up a new playoff tradition!

Game 6 had the crowd in a frenzy as the Edmonton Oilers dominated the Vancouver Canucks 5-1, keeping their playoff hopes alive and forcing a Game 7 showdown on the West Coast.
The energy was off the charts, and one daring fan took it to the next level by tossing not one, but two Alberta-grade T-bone steaks onto the ice at Rogers Place. The «Alberta Beef» was on display.
From the pre-game hype to the late stages of the match, these beefy projectiles made quite the statement.
The question was why steak though? Well, it's a nod to Alberta's pride and joy their beef. With the Oilers representing the province, it's a fitting choice. And facing off against their BC rivals, it adds an extra layer of rivalry. What'll also be interesting to see is the losing mayor fly the flag of the other team's logo at their own city hall.
Compared to tossing octopuses or catfish, the steak toss feels uniquely Edmonton. And who knows, maybe it'll bring the team some extra luck in Game 7 on Monday night in Vancouver.
Oilers fans, get ready to fire up the grill for Game 7 and see if the beef toss tradition can help propel the team to a triumphant victory!
