The Edmonton Oilers could look to move Evander Kane, sooner, rather than later, and if that happens, they have two intriguing suitors within their own division.

Evander Kane's career has been an interesting one, full of success on the ice and drama away from it, and while he's been a great player in Edmonton, those locker room drama's reportedly followed him in 2023/24. According to reports, there were many people upset with the way he carried himself in the locker room, and it could lead to plenty of issues this season.
Now, a new report has revealed that there is trade interest in Kane around the league, with both the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings reportedly pushing hard for a deal with the veteran star.
It's unclear how far discussions have got thus far if at all, but there's one big roadblock standing in their way, as Kane is seemingly unwilling to waive his no-trade clause at this point in time. Given that the Oilers are overwhelmingly expected to go back to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2025, a player that's never lifted the Cup not wanting to leave makes sense, but if any drama follows him again, this team could look to move on from him one way or another.
