Edmonton Oilers, Stanley Cup Final

This year, the Florida Panthers were the team that ended the Edmonton Oilers' impressive run in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, and it was quite an all-time journey.

Despite being down 0-3 in the Stanley Cup Final, Edmonton forced a decider, but it was clear by the end of the series that they were struggling with injuries, and their tough path to the finals had taken its toll.
The Oilers only made it hard on themselves for the last 3 series they played. They didn't show up for the first 3 games in each series.
The Oilers had a grueling playoff run, battling through the Los Angeles Kings, overcoming the Vancouver Canucks, and taking down the Dallas Stars.
According to @HockeyStathead the Edmonton Oilers this year had one of the hardest paths to the Stanley Cup in NHL history.
Their resilience was admirable, but Florida took advantage of their fatigue and managed to finish strong. Moving forward, if Edmonton can begin playoff series strong, they should have a prosperous run to glory.
