Oilers' Leon Draisaitl goes through a life-changing experience

Draisaitl has been having a memorable summer after also having a memorable season with the OIlers. He posted on Instagram that he proposed to his girlfriend Celeste, while on a beach in Mallorca, Spain.

Draisaitl was able to put up 41 goals and 106 points in what was a tremendous year for an Oilers' team that reached the Stanley Cup finals. He was also very good defensively with a +/- rating of +26. Now that he is engaged, the team and the city of Edmonton are praying he will have extra pep in his step to be able to push the team to the ultimate Holy Grail, the Stanley Cup.

Draisaitl has been a very happy man as of late, topping 100 points in a season yet again, and getting engaged to the love of his life. The icing on the cake would be signing a long-term extension, and winning the Cup. Based off how everything seems to be going his way lately, fans can only hope that will come true next season.
