In a recent interview with Stu Cowan, Carey Price confirmed his NHL future and whether he will ever be returning to the NHL or not.

This is tragic news for the Canadiens goaltender who was their rock for so long. Price in his prime won the Vezina and Hart trophy in a single season proving himself as undoubtedly the best player in the world.
Now, Price will have to sit by on the sidelines and watch his team play without him. He is currently on a massive $10.5 million contract for the next three years. While the Canadiens can pay this, he will be on the LTIR so insurance will pay this contract.
With this being the end of Price's career, he went out as arguably the best goaltender of the 2000s and 2010s and will certainly have his name in the Hall of Fame one day.
