The Caufield Brothers' Respective Journeys to the NHL.

Cole Caufield, the rising talent of the Montreal Canadiens, is gearing up for what could be his breakout season in the NHL. After an injury restricted him to 46 games last season, Cole is eager to create something big in Montreal.
The 22-year-old inked an eight-year contract earlier this summer, with a $7,850,000 AAV.
On the other hand, his older brother, Brock, after a five-season stint with the University of Michigan, has embarked on a different journey by signing with Toronto, the rivals of the Habs.

Embarking on his professional journey, 24-year-old Brock has now committed to a one-way AHL agreement with the Marlies.
In light of this, Cole, during a recent chat, couldn't resist a playful nudge at Brock's decision to team up with the Maple Leafs:
"#Habs Cole Caufield on his older brother, Brock, who signed with the #Leafs organization this summer: "they got a really good guy; a hard worker, loves the game, does all the right things. I think he picked a tough location, but I'm pumped up for him."

It's heartening to see Cole's enthusiasm for Brock, even if he joined the Canadiens' biggest rivals.

But he has a point: Toronto's a tough place to play. Beyond being the NHL's most important market, the team has a lot of talented players in their lineup. Brock, as a right winger, will need to compete with Marner, Nylander, Knies, and more to earn a spot with the Leafs.
With the Marlies, Brock will look to make a great impression in hopes of signing another deal next summer. If not in Toronto, someone else could be interested.
Do you think Brock will play with the Maple Leafs?
