The Toronto Maple Leafs have changed their goal song and have divided fans.
Leafs Change Goal Song
For years, the Toronto Maple Leafs played the song 'Dreams' by Hall of Oates after scoring a goal but it seems like times are finally changing.
It was just announced they will be dropping the song in exchange for a few new songs.
Hall and Oates are out. Leafs confirm they will change goal song �Dreams' to a selection of three or four tunes based on Original Six games, Next Generation, Throwback Thursdays and a regular season standard to be unveiled tonight.
While we do not yet know the Leafs' new goal song, it is exciting to finally see some change in an old and worn-out tradition.
The Maple Leafs will be playing the Canadiens tonight and we will have an opportunity to hear what their new song is.
