Maple Leafs fans call out Mitch Marner for his choice of off-season activities

After another disappointing Stanley Cup Playoff performance, the entire Maple Leafs roster has been scrutinized intensely over the past few months, but no one has received more than Mitch Marner. The 27-year old has been involved in constant trade talk since the moment their series with the Boston Bruins ended, and now the criticism continues.

Recently, Marner's wife posted a photo of him on the lake enjoying some downtime in the summer, but Leafs fans were quick to call him out in a hilarious manner.

While it was already bad enough, it becomes worse when compared to the constant workout and training videos posted by teammate Max Domi, which Leafs fans also referenced in the criticism of No. 16.

Ultimately, whether it's deserved or not, this hatred for Mitch Marner won't stop until he helps this team on a deep playoff run, and with his contract set to expire after this season, he may not get the opportunity, so unless he does something major this season, we could be looking at a player forever hated by a majority of the fan base.
