Eichel Reveals Why The Knights Won The Cup

In a surprising turn of events, the Vegas Golden Knights, after missing the playoffs in the previous season, made a game-changing decision by bringing on Bruce Cassidy as their coach. Little did they know that this move would play a pivotal role in their remarkable journey to capturing the Stanley Cup.
Jack Eichel, the star player of the Golden Knights, shared his thoughts on the transformation that occurred under Cassidy's guidance, shedding light on the reasons behind their triumph:
"It was incredible. I mean, I think what he did for our group and for me as a player, it was the reason we won, I think he came in and the way that he changed our game, but just push guys and hold everyone accountable and the way that he was able to get us to play, it was great. He was phenomenal. He was great all year." - Jack Eichel

Eichel's contribution was undeniable, amassing an impressive 26 points in 22 games. However, he believes that his coach had more of an impact than anybody else on the roster.

The Resilience of Bruce Cassidy

Despite being relieved of his duties by the Boston Bruins, who held the prestigious Presidents Trophy in the 2022-23 season, Cassidy managed to silence his critics by defeating the very team that eliminated the Bruins in the Stanley Cup Finals.
Cassidy's coaching journey began back in the 2002-2003 season with the Washington Capitals. Over the years, he has honed his skills, serving as an assistant with the Blackhawks and eventually leading the Bruins to success before finding his stride with the Golden Knights.
