In a recent interview, Jets forward Gabriel Vilardi has commented on his new city and has accidentally dissed it.
Vilardi Disrespects Winnipeg
Gabriel Vilardi was traded to the Jets earlier this offseason as a part of the blockbuster Pierre-Luc Dubois trade. He has finally touched down in Winnipeg and has started practicing with the team.
In one of his first interviews since coming to Winnipeg, Vilardi accidentally disrespected the city of Winnipeg.
«From what I've seen so far, Winnipeg isn't that bad.» - Gabriel Vilardi
Rough.

The Good
At least Gabe didn't say I hate the Zoo!!!
Bob.. do you remember when Randy Carlyle was traded to the Jets? He was a Norris champion if I'm correct he wasn't sure about Winnipeg either.. but look what happened. Winnipeg has an undeserved stigma.. maybe Stanley cup will change it.
The Bad
Another Jets player that wishes to be somewhere else..
Wait until December, January and February see what he says. Lol
«Isn't that bad» is the politically correct way of saying «it's much less stabby than I had been led to believe»
While Vilardi did not intend on dissing Winnipeg, he kind of did. However, he is here to play hockey and win games and with the proper opportunity, he could emerge as the future of the Jets franchise.
