The Winnipeg Jets are flying high in 2023-24, taking the top spot in the league in a way that no one expected, but could this team conceivably get even better going forward?

With a 26-9-4 record, there's no one in the NHL better right now than the Winnipeg Jets, who have allowed three or less goals in their past 29 games, and with every single player on the ice rolling, it's going to be tough to stop their momentum.
Connor Hellebuyck has been a star in net like most people expected, but it's the defensive intensity and chemistry of the rest of the group that's surprisingly driving the play, so the question remains, how could this team get better?

Kyle Connor's return will spark this team even further

Despite missing 13 games this year, Kyle Connor still leads this team in goals with 17, and his return imminent, he will add yet another threat to this forward group who has been fantastic, but struggled on the powerplay.
Out of 32 teams, the Jets PP has ranked 23rd in the NHL and their penalty kill ranks 26th, and with the return of a star like Connor, that could conceivably improve immediately, so keep an eye on these Jets who are only just going to get better.
