Connor Hellebuyck and Pierre-Luc Dubois' relationship has not been that public but in a recent interview, Jets head coach Rick Bowness revealed some animosity.

Bowness Shares Hellebuyck's Distaste For Dubois and Others

The Winnipeg Jets had quite the eventful offseason last year between extending Mark Scheifele and Connor Hellebuyck, trading away Pierre-Luc Dubois, and buying out former captain Blake Wheeler.
In a recent interview with Sportsnet, Winnipeg Jets head coach Rick Bowness commented on the state of the team and shared some interesting comments from his goaltender Connor Hellebuyck.
"[Connor] told me he was very happy with the trade we made with the Kings," mentioned Bowness, "He wanted to make sure we were invested in the mission to win a Stanley Cup.

We completed the transaction, and [Connor] saw that we made good moves. Our team is better, and we have a chance to win. I think that had more significance than anything else." - Rick Bowness

Dubois' Unwillingness To Go All In

It is no secret that Pierre-Luc Dubois is one of the most skilled players in the NHL but he consistently shows he is unwilling to put in 100% effort every single shift.
Now with Gabe Vilardi, Rasmus Kupari, and Alex Iafallo, the Winnipeg Jets got three players who will put in effort consistently night in and night out and want to buy into a culture that wins championships.
