Winnipeg Jets Provide an Update on Mark Scheifele's Injury

Mark Scheifele has had a rough few games and left last night's game with an apparent injury that kept him from returning.

Mark Scheifele Leaves Game During Second Period and Does Not Return

Mark Schiefele, unfortunately, left last night's game during the second period with an injury and failed to return to the game. Not many details were provided on Scheifele's injury besides the injury was to the lower body, however, Head Coach Rick Bowness did say he would be evaluated again today.
Mark Scheifele will be re-evaluated on Friday, says #NHLJets head coach Rick Bowness. No other update.
Scheifele has been on an incredible run this season, scoring 41 points in 41 games played this season.

Scheifele Has String of Bad Luck In Last Two Games

Unfortunately for Scheifele, he has had a string of bad luck in the last two games. Prior to this injury, Scheifele received a puck to the ear, forcing him to leave the game for stitches. He was able to return to the ice after the game ended, however, did mention that the injury was scary.
#NHLJets Mark Scheifele just spoke on the injury he suffered Tuesday after taking a shot to the ear. Says it was «more scary than anything» and he's thankful to have avoided anything serious. Says he immediately thought of Bryan Little. He'll play tonight with ear protection.
More details are to come on Scheifele's injury, surely, as he is evaluated today.
