The Winnipeg Jets, AHL affiliate Manitoba Moose are mourning the loss of former Moose video coach Richard Bue, who passed away in a battle with cancer at age 44.

Richard wasn't just a coach to Manitoba he was family. His positive vibes and passion for the game made him a legend in the community.
The Manitoba Moose and TNSE are heartbroken by the passing of former Moose video coach Richard Bue.

Our friend will be dearly missed by all those who had the fortune of knowing him.

Our sincerest condolences go out to Richard's family, friends and teammates.
When Richard Bue stepped away from the Moose a few years back to be closer to family in Ottawa I wrote this:

«Bue is one of the best people I've ever met in hockey.»

Just a great guy.

We continued to chat and his last message to me was a congrats back in Feb.

Will miss him.
Our hearts go out to Richard's family, friends, and teammates during this time.
From his days as the equipment manager to his time as the video coach, Richard poured his heart into hockey, especially back home with the Carleton University Ravens in Ontario.
Even when he was battling cancer, he never lost his smile or his love for the game. He taught people all what it means to keep pushing forward, no matter what life throws your way.
Richard may be gone, but his legacy will live on in the Moose family forever.
