While the Winnipeg Jets struggled to make it past round one of the playoffs, defenseman Dylan DeMelo has announced some incredible news.

Things in Winnipeg certainly didn't go the way the team had expected in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but for defenseman Dylan DeMelo, there's been some amazing news as well.
"We are expecting another (child) in August," Dylan DeMelo shared today, among many other thoughts on the Jets season.

"Going from a 2-1 zone to a man-on-man is going to be interesting."
DeMelo officially announced that after one child, his partner is expecting another, and as he so eloquently related it to hockey, he's going from a 2-1 zone to a man-on-man'. This is amazing news for the 31-year old defenseman who has spent the last five years in Winnipeg as his family continues to grow.
His NHL future is up in the air as DeMelo is now officially a UFA, so with his family growing, he'll look to lock down a long-term deal to settle down in what may be his last contract in the NHL.
