Scott Billeck, a writer for the Winnipeg Sun covering the Jets, shared that Dillon and the organization haven't discussed about a contract extension during the season and he hasn't heard from the team since their playoff run ended in the first round against the Colorado Avalanche.
Dillon, 33, spent the last three seasons with the Jets. This year, he tallied eight goals, 12 assists and had a +20 goal differential in 77 games. During the playoffs, he managed to score three assists in three games, but couldn't take part in all the games. He got severely cut from a skate blade in an end-of-game brawl after the third clash against the Avs:
