Winnipeg Jets star Nikolaj Ehlers linked to the Carolina Hurricanes

Now, one connection has already been made, with reporter Neil Smith linking him to Carolina, a place that has already tried to trade for him once before in the past.

It's unclear exactly how a trade would come together here, as both teams are looking to chase a Stanley Cup, with the Carolina Hurricanes still alive this season, although they face a 3-2 deficit against New York.
