During an eventful evening at the Edmonton Oilers game watch party, a big fight unfolded outside Rogers Place. The incident occurred in the aftermath of the Oilers' narrow 5-4 overtime defeat to the LA Kings in the second game of their initial round in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. It appears the loss left some fans particularly disappointed.

Incident Details

As the Oilers and Kings battled on the ice in Rogers Place, a huge fight broke out among the fans outside. The brawl was seemingly incited by a bystander who seemed to encourage the rivalry among the spectators.
The confrontation escalated when two individuals, one donned in a Zach Hyman jersey and the other in a brown hoodie, exchanged verbal insults which quickly led to physical violence. The initial swing set off a fight primarily involving these two, culminating in them being separated after both fell to the ground.

Series Update

Following this incident, the playoff series between the Oilers and Kings is evenly matched at 1-1. The teams are set to continue their journey in California for the third game on Friday night.
