The Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins have had one pf the most entertaining first-round playoff series this season, with high levels of hockey on the ice and high tensions between both fan bases. However, it appears that we finally have an answer on Auston MAthhews' place in the lineup after Paul Bissonette spilled the tea on his current status.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have done well at staying alive in their race to the Stanley Cup by coming back to full swing in games five and six, tying the series after being down against the Boston Bruins 3-1.
Yet, going into game seven, there have been questions circulating as to whether Auston Matthews would return to the lineup and put together the core 4 for Toronto. It seems that we can now finally put any rumors to bed, as former hockey player and current sports commentator and podcaster Paul 'BizNasty' Bissonette leaked that their star players will all be on the ice.
"Hearing rumblings the CORE FOUR will be assembling tonight. #BeLeaf"
With a full roster, this game is bound to be one of the most important and entertaining of the entire playoffs this season. Both teams are at risk of further tarnishing their reputation. For Boston, they could become the first NHL team to blow a 3-1 playoff lead in consecutive seasons. For Toronto, this could make their sixth game-seven loss in a row.
"No matter what happens tonight, Habs fans will get a laugh.
Either the Bruins blow a second straight 3-1 lead, or the Leafs lose ANOTHER game 7 to Boston.
I got $50 on the Leafs not Leafing tonight."
The two teams will play their final first-round game of this year's playoffs at 8:00 PM EST. With the stakes as high as they are, this will not be a game to miss.
