Oilers Sign Stonehouse
The oilers announced today that they have signed CHL free agent Brady Stonehouse to a standard, three-year entry-level contract. Stonehouse, who went undrafted, is an undersized winger who currently plays for the Ottawa 67s of the Ontario Hockey League.
Stonehouse scored 57 points in 68 games last season with the 67s. He also put up 66 penalty minutes and a plus 28 rating. He will continue to play in the OHL this year as an overage player. The winger adds depth to a prospect system that lacks depth on the right wing.
