The lacrosse move is undeniably one of the most spectacular maneuvers in hockey.

A former NHL player has expressed the belief that Gary Bettman may eventually prohibit players from executing this move.

These two players join the exclusive list of NHLers who have achieved this feat, which includes Andrei Svechnikov, Filip Forsberg and Kent Johnson..
However, the list of players capable of this move might remain short, as one former NHL player predicts that the NHL may ban the maneuver in the near future.

Rosehill Anticipates a Ban on the Lacrosse Move

Jay Rosehill stated on X that he believes Gary Bettman will forbid these moves in a near future.
They will ban the Michigan in the next 2 years.

It's hard to understand why the league would consider banning a move that generates significant publicity for the sport. If such a decision were made, it would undoubtedly disappoint many fans.
