With the New York Rangers and Florida Panthers ready to lay it all on the line in the 2024 Eastern Conference Final for a chance to play for the Stanley Cup, the series also brings about trade implications for both teams. The completion of some exchanges each team made in the 2023-24 regular season will depend on the outcomes of the series.
According to Capfriendly, making it to the 2024 Stanley Cup Final carries possible conditions for three trades made by the Florida Panthers that involve Kyle Okposo, Vladimir Tarasenko, and goaltender Magnus Hellberg.

Meanwhile, the Rangers could be on the hook for more in the Jack Roslovic trade if they make it past the Florida Panthers.

While no team wants to give up more than they have to in any trade, it's a safe bet that neither the Panthers or Rangers will mind the additional price if they get to the final, or win the Stanley Cup. The prospect of winning an NHL championship trumps everything else.
