A former Toronto Maple Leaf player has made a triumphant return to the NHL.

Holland Returns With Avalanche

In a recent development, Peter Holland, previously associated with the Toronto Maple Leafs, has officially re-entered the NHL by signing a Professional Tryout (PTO) contract with the Colorado Avalanche.
Peter Holland's last NHL appearance dates back to the 2017-18 season when he was part of the New York Rangers. However, for the past five years, he navigated through minor league teams and various European leagues, striving to keep his passion for the game alive.

What He's Been Up To Since Leaving The NHL

In the 2021-22 season, Holland's presence was notable in Djurg�rdens IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), where he participated in 15 games, managing 6 assists while notching zero goals.
A substantial portion of Peter Holland's professional career was spent donning a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey. During his tenure in Toronto, he featured in 174 out of his total 266 NHL games, contributing 25 goals and amassing 63 points.
Holland also previously retired from hockey back in 2021 but seems ready for a new challenge.
