Many NHL teams will try to secretly send scouts to other teams games in order to look at players they may be willing to trade for. The Jets have just been caught doing that.

The Flyers are in the midst of a rebuild and willing to part ways with many of their older players.

Despite a strong the start to their defensive core this year, the addition of another NHL defenseman would be ideal for the team to solidify themselves as playoff contenders in the Western conference.
