A member of the Buffalo Sabres prospect pool, Ryerson Leenders, was traded for eight draft picks in the OHL.

Big news emerged in the OHL earlier today, as the Brampton Steelheads decided to trade goaltender Ryerson Leenders to the Brantford Bulldogs. In return, the Steelheads received eight draft picks.
Check out their press release for all the details:
"BRAMPTON, ON - The Brampton Steelheads have completed a trade with the Brantford Bulldogs, sending goaltender Ryerson Leenders in exchange for eight draft picks. The future selections include two second-round picks in 2025 (BAR/WSR), a second-round pick in 2026, a third-round pick in 2025 (OTT), a third-round pick in 2026 (OTT), a third-round pick in 2027 (SAG), a fourth-round pick in 2025, and a fifth-round pick in 2027."

Leenders, drafted 219th in 2024 by the Sabres, led the OHL with a .909 save percentage, three shutouts, and a 24-17-4 record last season. He also won gold medals for Canada during the Hlinka Gretzky Cup and the U18 World Championship.
The General Manager of the Bulldogs, Matt Turek, shared a comment after acquiring the promising goaltender:
"We are very excited to add Ryerson to our club. Ryerson solidifies our goaltending tandem alongside David Egorov and gives our club a tremendous foundation for success. We know Ryerson is a player the fans will immediately gravitate to, and we look forward to his contributions both on the ice and in the community."
The Bulldogs are in a position to cause a surprise in the OHL this season. With other NHL draft picks Florian Xhekaj (Montreal, 101st overall in 2023), Nick Lardis (Chicago, 67th overall in 2023), Marek Vanacker (Chicago, 27th overall in 2024), Cole Brown (New Jersey, 164th in 2023), Patrick Thomas (Washington, 104th in 2023), Tomá Hamara (Ottawa, 87th in 2022), Owen Protz (Montreal, 102nd in 2024), Daniil Sobolev (Montreal, 142nd in 2021), and Jorian Donovan (Ottawa, 136th in 2022), it wouldn't be surprising to see them go all the way this season.
