The enforcer made an interesting declaration about his decision to stay in the south of the States.

Gudas Had Many Offers

As reported by Andy & Rono, Gudas received offers from top teams like the Maple Leafs and the Oilers, but he chose to sign with the Ducks.
He also got an offer from the Flames.
There's a particular reason explaining his decision.

He Doesn't Want to Play in Canada

Gudas absolutely didn't want to play in Canada and face the intense pressure to perform in the playoffs.
Here's what he said:
"In an interview with DenikSport, Radko Gudas said that he received offers from CGY & EDM & TOR. But he didn't want to play in Canada, especially in Toronto. He said the media pressure in the playoffs was crazy. He felt it even though he only played for Florida & not Toronto."
Where would you like to play the most?
